ITS Help Desk and Tech Lounge

Moodle help is available

Helpful Moodle support documentation, including tips for using the gradebook, is available on the Help website. Or, if you’re stuck and need to talk with someone, contact the Help Desk to be put in touch with someone from Learning and Research Technologies.

AppStream virtual computer lab

Amazon AppStream allows you to access a virtual Lafayette computer lab from a browser wherever you are. Many applications including AutoCAD, Matlab, and Stata are available on AppStream. For a complete list of software availability, please see our Apps Catalog.

Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud is available to you at no charge

If you need access to Microsoft Office or Adobe applications, Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud are available to members of the Lafayette community at no charge.

Access to thousands of online video tutorials

Over two hundred thousand online tutorials are available on LinkedInLearning.com for a broad range of technology topics such as Microsoft and Adobe applications, programming languages, and video editing. Access Lafayette’s instance of LinkedInLearning.com at from My Lafayette or directly at linkedinlearning.lafayette.edu.

Save your work. Often.

Remember to save your work often, particularly when working with programs that create local files (e.g., Word, PowerPoint). Beyond unlimited storage, Google Drive provides you options like Google Docs or Google Slides that saves your work automatically in real time.
