The College’s Technology Plan is designed to provide additional capabilities for faculty, students, and staff who will face a variety of remote teaching, learning, and working scenarios this fall. This is an update on progress since our last message.

Equipment that has been requested is now being distributed. If you have not yet notified us of your needs, please do so as soon as possible. We are deploying Apple and Dell laptops, external displays, webcams, portable document cameras, and iPad tablets. Request equipment for the fall.

The mobile, wide-angle web cameras with integrated microphones will still be deployed to smart classrooms in buildings the College designates for on-campus teaching. These same camera setups will be available for research labs upon request by completing this form.

In the next few weeks, audio and video recording setups will be installed in Skillman Library. Once complete, information about the use of these facilities will be posted to the ITS web site.

All faculty, staff, and students now have access to Zoom Pro, available by logging in to

ITS is finalizing our new AppStream environment, which makes lab software available from any remote location, whether in residence halls or across the country and the globe. More information regarding access to AppStream will be available before the start of the semester.

VPN service is now available to all students, faculty, and staff who use resources that are not accessible from off-campus. Instructions for installing and connecting to the VPN can be found at

DocuSign has been acquired for use by all faculty and staff. Information about accessing this service will be posted on the ITS help site by the start of the semester.

Training and Support

In addition to hardware and software purchases, ITS is offering training to support faculty as they prepare for fall courses. Recorded versions of these sessions are available at under Training and Information Technology. More training and support resources are also available.
