Beginning January 3, 2018, Lafayette faculty, staff, and students can log into their Zoom accounts using their Lafayette credentials. Access to Zoom, a web conferencing tool allowing one to host a virtual meeting, is now available through My Lafayette at my.lafayette.edu under “Connect to my accounts,” or directly from zoom.lafayette.edu.
Because Zoom was previously available only by locally created accounts, fewer people had access to it. Now, with all faculty, staff, and students having access to a Basic Zoom account using their Lafayette credentials, ITS is hosting a workshop for those interested in learning more about hosting a virtual meeting using Zoom. Lunch is included, so please reserve your spot for this session scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
For those needing more features than a Basic Zoom account, the College offers a limited number of Pro Zoom accounts by request.
