Make no bones about it! In this day and age of hyper-connectivity, digital socialization, and information security breaches like the Equifax breach, it is difficult to maintain your personal and online privacy while cultivating a digital presence that won’t throw a scare into family members or your employer. We’ll look at a variety of ways you can protect your online identity and what personal information you want to share, and not share, and how you might take actions that protect both your privacy and your online identity in their use. We’ll also look at what actions you might take if you find yourself on the wrong end of phishing attacks, jobs scams, fraud attempts, and cyber-stalking, or find that content you’ve created, accounts you access, or personal information of yours, has been compromised.
