Opinio is Lafayette's web-based survey tool.

Features include:

  • Account logins using Lafayette Network IDs
  • A variety of question types
  • Conditional branching and data piping
  • Invite survey takers using invitations
  • Reporting tools
  • Ability to customize the look and feel of a survey

Getting Started

  1. Complete the Opinio Account Request Form and then register for an Opinio workshop. If no workshops are scheduled, contact Jason Alley (alleyj@lafayette.edu) or Courtney Bentley (bentleyc@lafayette.edu).
  2. After receiving confirmation that your account has been created, which usually takes no more than 24 hours, log into http://opinio.lafayette.edu/ to begin creating surveys.

Gaining access to another survey or folder

  1. Ask the owner of the survey or folder to complete the Opinio Survey and Folder Access Form.
  2. You will be contacted once your account has permission to access the survey.

Getting help

Large Opinio Help iconThe Opinio software offers useful help documentation. Access Opinio help by clicking the large question mark in the upper-right corner of the Opinio interface. Context-based help can be accessed by clicking on the smaller question mark Small Opinio Help icon located within the section where you're working.
