A: ITS has three full-time instructional technologists who facilitate workshops and training for faculty, students and staff. In addition, an administrative staff person conducts productivity training for Microsoft Office applications. They are also available to provide one-on-one consulting and training. Contact:

Q: What workshops are you currently offering?
A: The current workshop schedule is available in the ITS calendar of events. If you would like to request a workshop for a topic not listed, contact an instructional technologist.

Q: I'd like someone to come to my class to teach PowerPoint. Do you do that?
A: Instructional Technology staff not only offer scheduled workshops and training in a variety of applications, arrangements for class instruction can be requested by faculty.

Q: I just took a workshop and want to learn more about the software. Can I take a manual home?
A: Yes! Skillman Library has manuals available for the following applications: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, StudioMX, Final Cut Pro 4, and Microsoft Office 2007 Bible for Word and Excel. Manuals have a 48 hour loan period, but can be renewed. Total Training DVDs for Microsoft Office 2007 can be borrowed for a one week period but not renewed immediately.

Q: I'd like to take one of your workshops but I can't fit it into my schedule. What can I do?
A: Instructional Technology offers one-on-one instruction for people who can't attend our regularly-scheduled workshops, or for those interested in topics not currently offered. To schedule a time, please contact an instructional technologist to make an appointment.
