Configuring email clients
To configure an email client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, or Mac OS X Mail) to send and receive Lafayette email, follow these instructions. Do not apply these instructions to Outlook on your College-owned computer, as that is configured differently and maintained by ITS.
Note: An IMAP configuration is strongly recommended because it keeps your email on the mail server, allowing you to access it from more than one location. These settings are to be used both on and off campus.
